We are so excited to officially announce the release of our new packaging. These new designs have already started hitting the shelves and have an overall look and feel unlike anyone else on the shelf. The updates feature an inside look into things like the company’s local sourcing and quality ingredients, new nutritional panels, and the new graphics are watercolor illustrations one of our own employees, Idhael.
Reminiscent of the original Genesis labels, the new packaging is infused with a modern look to highlight our personality and growth over the last 40 years. This also opens the door to new flavor opportunities in the near future, so stay tuned!
Over the last several years, our industry has become increasingly competitive, especially for small-batch producers like ourselves. We decided on the new packaging after looking inward and asking ourselves what we could do to meet these demands, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! The new packaging is just the first step of many ahead to bring us to a place where we can meet customer and market needs.
“For the better part of a year we've been sorting through our core values, customers, opportunities, and what makes most sense for Genesis,” said Jonah Alves, president of Genesis Organic Juice and Toby’s Family Foods. “We've finally found a great direction, and this packaging is just the first step of many ahead to bring us to a place we can meet customer and market needs.
We have updated the nutrition panels to comply with new USDA guidelines, including the new requirement to label added sugar. We were happy to include added sugar on the panel because it’s a question we get all the time. We dug in, found out the exact numbers, and now display them right on the label for you. Although we had 3 years to comply with these new guidelines pushed forward earlier this year, we wanted to be one of the first ones to tell you exactly what’s in your beverage. We hope you like the added info!
For those of you who follow us on social media, you know that we have been hinting at the new packaging launch over the last several months and even giving some of you a sneak peek of the new designs at local events and shows. The feedback from all of you has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are so grateful for your support throughout this process!
Our crew of awesome employees have also been incredibly supportive throughout the process, including Idahel, who has worked in production at Genesis for the past few years. When we heard that Idahel was a talented artist, he was asked to create the main images for the packaging overhaul. This personal touch was exactly what we were looking for, representing our strong sense of community here at Genesis, plus the artwork is just absolutely beautiful!
We hope that you love the new packaging just as much as we do. We would love to hear what you think. Take a photo of your favorite new design and tag us . Use the hashtag #GenesisJuice and let us know why it’s your favorite! Freebies & reposts likely coming your way.
Cheers to all of you, from all of us here at Genesis!
